More Information from STAT MED
STAT MED Urgent Care offers an ER-level of care for non-life-threatening medical emergencies without the long waits, high cost or impersonal service associated with an emergency visit to the hospital. In addition, STAT MED’s highly trained physicians are also ready to handle more routine medical care for patients who don’t have a primary physician, or can’t get in to see their doctor for any reason.
The STAT MED Livermore clinic is located at 4465 First Street, in the Arroyo Shopping Center at the intersection of Los Positas Rd. and First Street. This is the same center that hosts Melo’s Pizza and Safeway. The clinic is open 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Livermore Valley Chamber Board of Directors, Ambassadors and Staff officially welcomed STAT MED Urgent Care to Livermore at a ribbon cutting celebration held on February 27.
STAT MED – Livermore staff and clinic doctors also participated in the ribbon cutting event, including Dr. Armando Samaniego, STAT MED Chief Medical Officer, and Robert O’Reilly, Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Samaniego offered attendees a tour of the clinic’s state-of-the art facilities, including its five private treatment rooms, on-site x-ray, on-site labs and more.
Industry data shows upwards of 60-70% of non-life threatening visits to the ER could be successfully (and cost-effectively) addressed by an experienced doctor in a setting like STAT MED Urgent Care.
“We are proud to expand Livermore’s access to affordable, high-quality medical care by offering a convenient and cost-effective alternative to hospital emergency room,” says Dr. Samaniego, a long time emergency room physician and the co-founder of STAT MED, who is actively involved in patient care and has already worked many hours in the STAT MED – Livermore clinic.
