Cutting the ribbon on April 26 to celebrate its grand opening weekend, The Bar Method Livermore is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. With the signature Bar method, individuals use their body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Owner Meghan Cooney is a lifelong athlete whose body was tired and in pain after playing volleyball in college. She discovered the Bar Method and loved the intense and challenging workout while feeling safe and comfortable. After teaching Bar for three years, she decided to open her own studio. “I chose Livermore because of the supportive, tight-knit community and all of the fun activities and events going on around town!” said Meghan. “The Bar Method Livermore looks forward to partnering with local businesses to create a healthy, empowering community in this thriving town.” The Bar Method is located at 2482 Nissen Drive.
