May 14, 2015, Livermore, CA – John Hone of Colliers International, represented Tri Valley Learning Corporation (‘TVLC’) in their recent purchase of an 80,000 square foot class A, office building at 3090 Independence Drive, Livermore for an undisclosed amount. The seller, Balch Enterprises was represented by Lee & Associates. TVLC operate charter schools in Livermore, Stockton and San Diego. “This is the final piece of the puzzle for the Livermore Charter School, having previously purchased the adjacent sixteen-building office park for its Kindergarten through 8th grade school in 2012”, stated John Hone.

This recent purchase has been in the works for several years and will house high school students from the K-8 campus as well as International students. The land between the two campuses is intended for sport field use.

“Our latest recession provided opportunities for non-profits like TVLC to enter into the commercial real estate market as traditional investors and users were frozen out by the severe lending restrictions of banks and other lenders.
