What: PG&E/IBEW Local 1245 West Coast Lineman’s Rodeo & Family Day

When: Saturday, July 29, 2017 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Where: PG&E Livermore Training Center 7205 National Drive, Livermore, California

Everyone likes to watch a good competition. Join your colleagues in Livermore on Saturday, July 29 to watch some of the world’s most talented Linemen (not the football kind) and Apprentice Linemen compete in events related to their trade. Watch them climb poles, work with live-line tools and perform a simulated rescue of an injured co-worker. Safety is the most important factor for each event and if they do it safely (and quickly) they can win!

Top teams and apprentices will compete in the 34th Annual International Lineman’s Rodeo in Kansas City.

Bring your families too! We’ll have a rock climbing wall, face painting, a prize wheel, a petting zoo, tool displays, free snow cones and more!

Admission: Free

Lunch: Provided free of charge

Registration: Not necessary – just show up and enjoy!

*Immediately following the competition there will be a helicopter long-line demonstration that you won’t want to miss!
