The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first in its 2018 Wine Country Luncheon series on Thursday May 31 at the LARPD Robert Livermore Community Center.

“The economy in California and in the Bay Area region continues to prosper as we strive to manage its impacts – good and bad. We look forward to hearing from representatives from the Governor’s office and a major Bay Area economic think tank, with a moderator from the building industry as they report on successes, progress and plans to address the effects to business and to local communities,” said Dawn Argula, LVCC CEO.

Featured speakers include Deputy Director Sid Voorakkara from the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development; Micah Weinberg, President of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute; and moderator Lisa Vorderbrueggen, Executive Director Governmental Affairs for the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area.

The LVCC monthly luncheon series is held at various venues throughout the beautiful Livermore Valley wine region. Held May through Fall, luncheon themes include topics and issues relevant to the dynamic economy at the local, regional, state and national levels.
