Livermore, Calif (April 27, 2017) – The 2017 Livermore Wine Country Downtown Street Fest, the Tri-Valley’s premier festival will be held on May 6 and 7. The festival, which boasts an attendance of over 150,000 people over the course of two days, will stretch along First Street from the Vine Theater all the way down to Maple.

The best of the Livermore Valley’s finest wines will be represented at the event including Concannon Vineyards as our Sponsor and many more of the Valley’s favorites! This year local Livermore Breweries will be featured with Altamont Beer Works sponsoring along with Ballast Point and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.

*Second Street, will be filled with Fun and Games Kid’s activities from J to N Street.

*K Street Merchants, Blacksmith Square and Our First and Maple Street Merchants are hosting live music on stages in their neighborhood. Live bands will be playing both days

* Livermore School of Dance will be hosting a Family Performance Stage at L and Second Street.

*The boutiques and restaurants of downtown Livermore invite you to visit them to learn why downtown Livermore has become the choice shopping and dining district of the Bay Area!

New for 2017 –
New this year: One glass, two experiences! Your tasting package gives you Livermore Downtown Inc. 2017 season glass to be used for BOTH wine and beer tasting. The glass will be used for wine tastings of 1 oz. per pour and beer tastings of 3 oz. per pour.

Also new this year: The Hub Club Speakeasy by Vasco Urbano Wine Company. A pop-up winery tasting experience, grab your ticket for a truly unique, “don’t ask don’t tell” blind pig. Each $10 ticket receives a 5 wine tasting flight in an exclusive environment.

Wait there’s even more!: 2017 we are launching our Lifestyle Pavilion. We have gathered experts in the cullinary field including Sommeliers to olive oil producers and gardening masters. Saturday classes will be sponsored by Monique Soltani of WineOh TV and Sunday will be sponsored by East Bay Organized Culinary Chefs’ Lounge. Attendance is limited for each class. The Livermore Wine Country Festival will be held on Saturday, May 6th from 10AM – 6PM and on Sunday, May 7th from 10AM – 5PM on First Street in Downtown Livermore from Maple to O Street, and on Second Street from L to N Streets. Free Admission and Free Parking outside the event. There is no outside alcohol permitted within the event.
