Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes Livermore Mayor John Marchand who will present a State of the City address at its Wine Country Event on Thursday May 23 at an in-person luncheon held at the LARPD Robert Livermore Community Center. This is Marchand’s second term as Livermore Mayor and we look forward to his update presentation.

“The business community is looking forward to hearing from Mayor Marchand about progress on initiatives important to the city’s economic health,” said Sherri Souza, LVCC Interim CEO/President. “The Chamber has been supportive of the City of Livermore and its leaders on key issues affecting the local and regional economy.”

Topics Mayor Marchand is expected to cover include the City’s progress on downtown projects – housing, hotel and amenities including parking and green space; progress on housing and infrastructure citywide and delivery of key city services; the City’s General Plan update; and the status of the City’s fiscal health and resources to meet its obligations.
