June, 24, 2024 – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce will present its well-received Wine Country Luncheon Series again this year and continue the conversation regarding workforce development in the Tri-Valley.  “Business to Youth Connection” will feature a panel of experts in the Tri-Valley that will discuss exploration of workforce development opportunities that are available to businesses and future workers.

The panelists  at the event will be Alcian Lindo from Tri-Valley Career Center, Julie Duncan from Tri-Valley ROP, Megan Craig with San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, Monya Lane with Quest Science Center and moderating the panel will be Kim Hudson with Earn & Learn.

The first luncheon of this topic was presented last year on July 27, 2023  @ Ravenswood Historic Site and featured Tri-Valley Career Center, The State of California Employment Training Panel, Gallo Wine, the County Workforce Development Board, and the OSHA Training Institute and was moderated by Steve Lanza with Tri-Valley Advising.

The July 25 luncheon will also celebrate the graduation of the 2023/2024 Leadership Livermore graduating class from Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“These luncheons are always extremely popular and often sell out. It’s a great way to keep in touch with what is going on in the business community and to network. We look forward to another exciting discussion in this beautiful wine country venue and celebrating the graduation of our Leadership Livermore community education program,” said Sherri Souza, CEO/President of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Reservations can be made on-line at www.livermorechamber.org. All luncheons are $75 each for members of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce and their guests, $85 for not-yet-members. Seating is limited and must be pre-paid. Credit Cards accepted. Sign up soon to reserve your spot before it’s too late.  This is an outdoor event.
