MEDIA ADVISORY: Rancho Las Positas Elementary Will Host Gold Ribbon Celebration

WHAT:  Rancho Las Positas Elementary School has earned the prestigious Gold Ribbon School Award and will be hosting an on-campus celebration on June 10th. The California Gold Ribbon Schools Award was created to honor schools while the California Distinguished Schools Program is on hiatus as California transitions to new assessment and accountability systems.

Rancho Las Positas Elementary School’s application showcased their Reading Intervention Program, which is providing highly effective supports to students for achievement in English Language Arts.

WHO: This event is open to the public and media personnel are invited.

WHEN:  Friday June 10, 5-8:00 p.m. Rancho Las Positas, Blacktop

  • Foam Riders, a Livermore-based rock band will be performing
  • Livermore Lions Club will be grilling throughout the duration of the event

WHERE: Rancho Las Positas Elementary School, 401 E Jack London Blvd, Livermore.
