Livermore, CA – Wente Vineyards officially cut the ribbon on their newly remodeled dining space, now called the Vineyard Table and Tasting Lounge. Previously the site of their fine-dining restaurant, the new space is a place for friends and family to gather and make memories while enjoying Wente’s renowned hospitality.

Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce staff and members of the Board of Directors were honored to be invited to the ribbon cutting, followed by samples of the new menu. “Wente Family Estates is such an iconic fixture in Livermore, with the fifth generation of the family now working at the estates. We are so excited to see this transformation and how they are looking to the future – ready to meet the needs of generations to come,” said Dawn P. Argula, CEO and President of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Vineyard Table and Tasting Lounge features comfortable sofas and chairs, along with table seating. The expanded outdoor dining area has a variety of seating available, from high top tables for two to comfy patio furniture around fire pits.

“In talking with the next generation of the Wente family and finding out what direction they would like to see the winery take as they get more and more involved with running the operation, they said they wanted a more casual space where friends and family can connect over fine food paired with fine wine.” Said Brendan Finley, Executive Vice President Hospitality & Direct to Consumer Retail at Wente Vineyards. “They want to get away from the traditional white tablecloth up-scale dining and offer a space where the emphasis is on the shared experience.”

The new menu, created to complete the feeling of the vineyard table, continues to feature Wente’s emphasis on using ingredients at their peak that are sustainable and organically grown, mostly on-site in their kitchen garden. Driven by the desire to create a unique and warm atmosphere for social connection, the elevated wine country menu will emphasize seasonality and shareable plates, large and small, that pair seamlessly with their award-winning selection of wines.
