Dear Producer,
We welcome you to the community of Livermore.
Whether you’re preparing to film a movie, television series, a commercial or publication ad, we look forward to working with you.
Film is made easy in Livermore because:
- The city requires no film permits.
- We have empty mansions, warehouses and industrial parks in addition to neighborhoods that span virtually every economic level and look.
- We offer a charming downtown that can be shot for any town USA and two vacant schools.
- Other highly sought after location sites include a local hospital that has empty space available with great interior and exterior vistas.
- Rural sites ranging from open country to vineyards and other types of agriculture are within minutes of the civic center.
- Livermore is connected to the experienced crews of Northern California by convenient public transportation and multiple freeways.
- There is an abundance of hotel rooms and restaurants within 10 miles of all parts of the city. They range from top of the line “star quality” to more moderate crew accommodations.
- Livermore is conveniently located just 30 miles east of the Oakland International Airport.
- The weather is production friendly. The average temperature is 73° during the days with cooler nights; all under blue, smog-free skies.
- The average rainfall is around 14 inches
Our experienced staff is ready to assist you and help facilitate all aspects of production from script breakdown, preliminary scouting to customized location assistance. We are your liaison with local, state and federal government as well as the community.
With our year round ideal weather, low cost locations, and unparalleled cooperation from the community and government, Livermore will be a filming destination difficult to leave.
Sincerely,
Dale Eldridge Kaye
