Beeb’s Sports Bar & Grill’s 13th Annual Charity Cup Golf Classic Friday, May 16, 2008 Benefiting the Aldon Wright Fund Beeb’s Sports Bar & Grill is hosting its 13th Annual Charity Cup Golf Classic at the Las Positas Golf Course in Livermore on Friday, May 16th, 2008. This year’s tournament is very special to everyone at Beebs because they are raising funds for someone very close to their hearts. All monies raised will be donated to the Aldon Wright Fund. Aldon is 2 years old and the son of one of Beeb’s long-time employees. Aldon has Cerebral Palsy and needs to attend a costly developmental program five days a week that teaches him skills that will improve his future. The tournament begins with a BBQ lunch served on the patio followed by a 1:00pm Shotgun start. The cost of $150.00 per person includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, complimentary beverage and food stations on the course, golf shirt, awards ceremony and huge raffle giveaway! Mark Your Calendars and Purchase Your Tickets! Don’t Miss the highly anticipated Livermore Legacy Tour on Sunday, May 18th from 11-5! Advanced purchase is suggested as tickets are limited and expected to sell-out! The first annual Livermore Legacy tour will show-case some of Livermore’s finest historical homes, both inside and out! Many of the homes have been awarded historical plaques by the city of Livermore and all are over 75 years of age. All of the homes are within walking distance and will feature vintage cars. Docents will be sharing unique attributes of all of the homes in addition to the information contained in the provided guide-book. There will be garden-stops along the tour with light refreshments available. Advance tickets are available for $26 and $30 the day of the event. Tickets are available via our website (www.livermorehistory.com) or by visiting the Livermore Heritage Guild (2155 Third Street in Livermore). No pets, strollers or high-heels. All attendee’s (including children) must possess a ticket. Proceeds will benefit the Livermore History Mobile, a traveling bus that educates local children on Livermore's unique history.
