Ambassador Committee The Ambassadors are the goodwill arm of the Chamber of Commerce and the Business community. They help coordinate ribbon-cutting ceremonies, grand openings, and other Chamber events. Ambassadors act as “special greeters” at the Chamber’s many activates and they are responsible for introducing and welcoming new members. The Ambassadors meet the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 12 noon at the Chamber.
Board of Directors Our Board of Directors establishes goals and priorities, and sets policy for the organization. They meet at the Chamber on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 am.
Economic Development Committee Business attraction, business expansion and business retention are the cornerstone of this committee. Emphasis is placed on the understanding the city and region with the goal of providing a healthy business climate, more jobs, and a strong financial base. The Economic Development Committee meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 am at the Chamber.
Education Committee Business owners are well aware of the importance of an educated workforce and are spending a great deal of time working with educators to enhance the educational system. This committee is actively involved with local education programs. The Education Committee meets on an as needed basis.
Mixers Chamber members host an open house at their business, inviting attendees to first hand view of their facilities, products or service. This is networking at it’s best with entertainment, food and beverages.

Government Affairs Committee Business can no longer operate in a vacuum. Community concerns, labor issues, and the environment all impact your ability to achieve a prosperous Future. This committee monitors governmental and legislative activities and members are alerted to current and future issues. When required, strategies are developed and actions are recommended to the Board of Directors. Government affairs meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 am.
Installation Dinner & Community Awards Gala Held the first Saturday of February. This elegant evening includes the installation of the incoming Chamber Chairman, Executive Officers and the Board of Directors. Prestigious awards honoring individuals and businesses within Livermore are also presented.
Leadership Livermore Leadership Livermore is a program designed to identify, train and motivate the finest current and future leaders from all segments of the Livermore Community. Its aim is to prepare these people for involvement in community oriented leadership roles. Participants meet once a month starting in September and over the next 8 months develop their understanding of leadership roles and learn about prevailing issues within Livermore.
Luncheons Enjoy the wonder of a mid day break among the vineyards. Guest Speakers will give entertaining and interesting presentations on local topics of interest, including entertainment.
Real Estate Roundup This half day event begins with a bus tour of new residential, commercial and governmental development in Livermore. It concludes with a luncheon program where you will hear from experts on a variety of growth and development issues facing Livermore. |
